Working on the Website

Lately we have been powering away on the website, trying to get it live by the end of the month. This is the reason for our blog neglect. But not to worry. Morena Welding has been busy as usual and all the guys are back to work. Sean is back from his wedding/aftermoon, and Juan is back from Baja with a smile on his face as usual. He is the stainless steel master and is finishing up a heavy duty stainless steel gate while Sean and Jose are hard at work on a residential handrail. Handrails can be simple sometimes, meaning not this time. Under the main rail is a flat three inch wide by half inch thick piece of steel that is difficult to match to the curve of the retaining wall it wraps around. It is a sturdy handrail to be modest and the ironic part is that the aesthetic piece of steel is what makes it stronger. Also today, a client brought in a trailer that has stress cracks in the main frame connecting to the hitch, basically needs a new front end, along with a mini skid loader that needs some work as well. Never any down time around the shop and that is how we like it.
